Tangrid is a window manager that makes window management blend naturally into your daily workflow. It is designed for professional users who work with multiple monitors and virtual desktops (Spaces), providing a complete organization and management solution for the digital workspace.

Main Features

• Smart grid and window snapping: Based on the BSP (Binary Space Partition) algorithm, Tangrid can automatically arrange windows into a precise 3×6 grid and provides 18 snap positions. You can quickly arrange windows into specified areas, fill the available space, or create clear split-screen layouts without tedious manual adjustments.
• One-click management: All kinds of window organization operations use intuitive interactions and require only minimal effort to complete.
• Global window switching: Tangrid offers two efficient ways to navigate windows:
  • A horizontal window switcher (⌘Tab), with larger window previews for quick visual switching on large displays.
  • A vertical window list with search, for quickly switching between many windows of the same app, such as multiple Finder windows or browser windows.
• Combine windows into tabs: You can group windows from different apps, such as browsers, terminals, and documents, into the same tab group, reducing desktop clutter and making it easier to switch between related tasks.
• Enhanced Dock: Hovering over a Dock icon displays interactive window previews, with support for multiple monitors and dynamic scaling, all in a Liquid Glass style design.

Features

• Supports multiple monitors and macOS Spaces.
• Supports fine-tuning of window behavior.
• Uses a clean interface design that minimizes distractions from your work.
• Runs fast and smoothly, and is optimized for modern Macs.

Unlike many window managers that only provide “window snapping,” Tangrid offers a complete window management system that integrates window layout, navigation, and previews into one unified and intuitive interface.
